DROP SAFES, DROP BOXES, DEPOSITORY SAFES..

Drop safes! Also refer to as, depository safe, hopper safe, drop box, money safe, front loading or top loading safe. Drop safes come in various sizes with various drop doors or drop slots. A "front-loading" safe will usually consist of a drop slot or a drop door on the front of the safe. This is a good idea if you are planning to set the safe under a counter or desk. A "top-loading safe will usually consist of a drop slot or a rotary hopper on the top of the safe. This is a good idea when you have no interference above the safe to make your drop. Drop safes are generally used in convenient stores, hotels/motels, gas stations, car washes, churches, restaurants and any other business which uses cash during the day or night. An employee can drop/deposit the daily cash, checks and credit card slips using an envelope or a money bag for the owner or manager to remove it the next day, avoiding leaving unnecessary cash in the register.
