These records safes are ideal for your home office. Four sizes are available depending on your capacity requirements. These safes have all KSG-4500 testing standard for 1-hour fire resistance as set for by KIS (Korean Industrial Standards) to verify protection of paper records with three specific independent tests. Fire Test: The safe is tested for 2 hour in a furnace with temperatures rising to 1850 °F. Explosion Test: The safe is heated to 1852 °F in 10 minutes, continued at this temperature for 30 minutes. Impact Test: Subjected to fire exposure for 45 minutes, dropped 13 feet, returned to furnace upside down for and reheated for 1 hour.
BFC Models are enhanced for additional security with 2 independent relocking devices with glass relock trigger; 1 1/4" chrome plated locking bolts; 2" thick door and 3" thick body.
